A Hobby Center Arts Partner
The Texas Medical Center Orchestra concludes its 2025-2026 season with a concert filled with exploration, innovation, and the joy of music.
Russian Fireworks
The journey begins with Overture to Ruslan and Lyudmila by Mikhail Glinka, a brilliant, high energy orchestral piece known for its rapid tempo, sparkling string passages, and vivid orchestration.
Pianist Diego Caetano will return to perform Piano Concerto No. 3 in D Minor by Sergei Rachmaninioff, a towering masterpiece of the Romantic repertoire, known for its sweeping lyricism, intense emotional depth, and formidable technical demands.
To conclude the evening, the orchestra will end its 2025-2026 season with Pictures at an Exhibition by Modest Mussorgsky, a vivid work that musically portrays a walk through an art gallery. Let the melodies, rhythms, and emotions carry you to the horizons of artistic inspiration.

Founded in 2000, TMCO is one of the few community orchestras in the United States to be based in the medical community.
Each year, TMCO performs concerts in the Crain Garden Lobby of Houston Methodist Hospital and various locations within the Texas Medical Center as well as in premier concert halls in Houston. In addition, TMCO contributes to the community and has donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to the MS Society and has performed free concerts for tens of thousands of Houstonians. tmcorchestra.org
